Most Memorable Travel Experience
Too many to list only one, Rio Carnival, Iguazu falls, Paris, hearing trumpets playing late one night in a deserted snow covered square in Prague, dining at the Sirocco in Bangkok, and my absolute favourite restaurant, the Mantra in Pattaya Thailand. Wait, how can I forget the 2.4 kilo chili crab in Singapore in November plus the many fabulous nights dining on Chaweng beach in Koh Samui, Last but not least New Years Eve 2007 at Copacabana beach in Rio, totally awesome.

I a happy guy who loves to travel. I feel that in the mid nineties I woke up one morning and 20 years had flashed by, so I said "I AM OUTA HERE" and I have been traveling almost non stop ever since.
Sometimes I feel I am trapped in a time warp, my body is getting older and my mind is thinking younger, is this some sort of life threatening disease? :) I departed for a 10 week trip on December 5 2007, 1 week in Tokyo Japan, 1 week England, 1 week Portugal, 6 weeks Brazil and 1 week New York. I was in Rio for New Years Eve and Carnival, I also visited Curitiba, Belnario Camboriu, Florianopolis. This was my 8th trip to Rio and my 3rd third Carnival, it was one hell of a party. I hope I can hook up with some interesting people along the way, I may even carry a sign or get a tattoo saying "DINNER COMPANIONS WANTED, GORGEOUS LADIES APPLY HERE".

Twelve years had flown by since I was last in this wonderful country mainly due to the terrorist activity around Kuta earlier this century. I had forgotten how nice the Balinese people really are, so it was great to go back for a visit.
I was really surprised how many new upmarket bars and restaurants have popped up all over the place particularly in Seminyak which is a few miles from Kuta. In fact there is really no need to go to Kuta, Seminyak, Legian and Sanur have so much more to offer.

Koh Samui, Thailand -› Pattaya, Thailand -› ...
Twelve friends hopped on a jet and flew to Thailand together in November 2008, now most of us agree that smaller travel groups is a far better way to go. :)
Now it is April 2008 and I am here in Thailand again. I also have trips booked to come here early September and 3 weeks in November. I will probably do a side trip back to Viet nam as well.
Check out this link for the most spectactular restaurant in the world. Sirocco in Bangkok.
