I used to teach people to fly and now I sit on my rear showing trains where to go. Yes I moved from flying in the '80's to trains, buses and truck in the '90's. I work in Sydney and live south of Sydney. My husband and I travel by train everywhere that it is possible to go.
We like to travel to the more out of the way places and experiencing things off the beaten track. I love reading about people's experiences on train rides overseas.

My dream trip on the trans-Siberian and the trans-Mongolian. I have always wanted to go to Russia and my grandfather did too. As he died before he could make it. I am recreating the trip he would have wanted to do. (As best as I can on a backpacker budget)
