Proprieter is more interested in money than in the comfort of guests. Bookings made for high season are discarded in favour of people wishing to stay for longer so you are left with nowhere to stay in high season as they do not tell you of the decision to cancel your booking without reason or discussion. You can turn up for a regular booking to be told that your room has been given out to guests who are willing to pay higher rates for your regular room! Pity, as the house is in prime location for exploration and discovery of the north yorkshire coastline. Not a person-friendly establishment, but a money-friendly business. Lack of en-suite is also a huge problem in such a popular town at high season.
