wombat´s CITY HOSTEL MUNICH

Almost as good as their hostel in Berlin. For the same reasons… It is very easy to meet new people, the staff is very helpful and friendly and the hostel feels safe and secure. They also have nice common-areas and several tours available.

They have a quite nice bar, but they don't have a roof-top bar like Berlin... but it is Munich, so you'll visit the beer gardens anyway.

It's just across the street from the train-station. If you are traveling by train (like interrail or eurail) it's perfect. It's also walking distance to almost everywhere from here.
