An Experiment in Molecular Gastronomy Nov 07, 2011
I love to take risks…I like to enjoy life and leave myself open to new adventures and opportunities…but not usually with my food. But for the past year, I’ve been determined to change that. One way was by eating at Wiley Dufresne’s famous WD-50. The Cuisine is American with a molecular gastronomy twist. Square eggs benedict with square fried cubes of hollandaise, Aerated Foie gras, crispy sesame flatbread, cold fried chicken, and so much more is offered in this place.

Now just the concepts of these plates are amazing. The taste is just ok, not mind blowing, but you go for the experience and adventure. Just look at the pics with amazement. It was a great $500 dinner. You have to experience it once if you’re in NY.
