Traveling to Hanoi and Halong Bay during Tết Nguyên Đán (or Tết for short) turned out to be more of an adventure than was anticipated.

After narrowly escaping the New Year's Eve bombings in Bangkok... I've safely arrived in Cairns. For the next 15 days I'll be making my way down the East Coast of Australia, hopefully in time to make my flight from Melbourne to Bangkok on 16 Jan
