this hotel is an ideal place to base yourself for exploring the north of the island. Es Cana is on the east coast north of Santa Eularia and has some great beaches nearby. a small resort which suffers none of the excesses of san antonio etc. the hotel caters mainly for the brits abroad but does it in a relaxed family way and were very happy to welcome this solo male traveller. breakfasts are British and 'full' if required, the rooms are serviced daily and perfectly clean and pleasant if a little basic. i was paying 20 euros a night for my room inc breakfast and have absolutely no complaints. no pool but free access to the posh large one literally opposite
