This is a great place to go whether you are a vegetarian or not! The place only does Veggie meals, but they are so nice! It is also cheap! which makes it even better! You can get a veggetarian burger with fries and a smoothie drink for two pounds and thirty pence! Alot cheaper than you would get it for at home! There are three of these restaurants in San Jose! One very small one and two bigger ones! Situated all in the centre of San Jose!!

If your a vegetarian and are worried that all your ever eat in Costa
Rica is rice and beans, dont fret, just pop into one of the three
Vishnus in San Jose.  This little vegetarian fast food place is
just great, makes me wish we had these over in England.  Its cheap
and the food is great.  You can get a great deal if you choose a
combo deal (dinner-lunch, which comes with a fresh natural drink)
choose either Veggie burger and cheese, Pita bread with soya ham and
cheese, Vishnu cool sandwhich, Vishnu hot sandwhich.  All come
with the healthy chips, a side salad and a sauce which we still havent
worked out yet.  As for your natural drink, well there is not a
coca cola or beer in sight, only fresh juices and fresh fruit con aquas
!!! All this for only 2,075c thats including the 10%tax, and its really
filling, either for a big lunch or dinner.

Vishnu also offers fresh fruit salads, soups, salads, pastas and they also make, all there own fresh brown bread!!!

Vishnu is a veggies dream, and even if your a meat eater, you will still marvel at the great tasty food on sale.
