Most Memorable Travel Experience

My Lands End to John O'Groats Cycle - especially all the amazing people that I met along the way.

Whale and dolphin watching in the Azores. The whales were amazing but the bottle nose dolphins jumping in the air were absolutely breathtaking.

Profile

Obviously I love love travelling and would quite hapily go anywhere that has something different to offer. I love nature and the outdoors so I try and base my holidays around these interests. I'm not good at sitting around though so I always need to be doing something to keep me entertained.

I'm a keen cyclist/triathlete so a lot of my future travels will be based around my training. I love cycle touring and my ultimate aim is to circumnavigate the planet by bike (~5 years time).

I have just finished teacher training (secondary Science) and am now going traveling for a year before getting a job. I'd love to meet new people on my travels so if you're in the same place as me just give me a shout if you want to meet up :)

Nice, well hopefully you'll get some decent weather then. I did a similar route to yourself but in a camper van over a few months in 2006. The van struggled in first gear in a few places especially the Haast to Wanaka leg.

Ironman France & The Tour De France 2009

I competed in Ironman France then remained in France to watch the first two stages of the TdF. I then returned to France a week later to watch the TdF pass through the Alps. I also took my bike so I could ride the climbs.
