Life without music would be an error. -Nietzsche

I have been to many different Countries and spent the last 12-15 years on traveling in various jobs. I have spent half of my life "on the road". So I will try to build a blog/review section of all the wonderful places I have been!

I just started a new job that will require me to travel around N. American region more... So hopefully I get to see some new places in America and possible S. America and the Carribean. We service Cruise ships, so I may just end up there! :D

Hi, Brian! As Texans say, I’ve decided to take the bull by the horn and organize December 4 & 5 TravBuddy meetups in Austin & San Antonio. Click the Forums tab at the top right of this page/TravBuddy Meetups/2 Texas Meetups for more details. I’d love to get your ideas and I HOPE YOU WILL ATTEND one or both of the events :-D

Ireland
Aug 12, 2006 - Oct 08, 2006
In 2006 I went to the Emerald Isle (for work, what else) but this time it was another long expeditions. This time I was getting my own apartment!!! No hotel rooms, no room service, no maid service, what would I possibly do? Become one with the locals of course! I made a lot of friends and lived happily for those 2 months. I wish my Company would have agreed to Intel's terms and kept me there for a year!

Japan

I lived in Japan for 2 years while serving in the Navy, and have been back many times. I absolutely love Japan and recommend it to anyone! It still remains and will always be in my top 3 travel destinations!

France

I have only been lucky enough to travel to France a couple times. One of my most life changing trips, and relaxing work-vacations I have ever had was to France though. I traveled to Aix-en-Provence for work; for what was supposed to be 2 weeks, it ended up being a month long trip that I will forever remember. How can anyone not enjoy a month in the Riviera paid for by work?
