Most Memorable Travel Experience
So many to choose from...Sailing the Whitsunday Islands in Australia, surfing off Point Stevens near Byron Bay (Australia), making Christmas cookies in my little beach shack in St. Thomas, "bubbly pools" in the British Virgin Islands, our many drunken ferry trips to St. John, eating dinner on the beach in Rincon, Puerto Rico, gallons of sangria on the beaches of St. Thomas, breaking my butt skiing in Lake Tahoe, my crazy birthday in Las Vegas, snorkelling the Great Barrier Reef, I could go on forever!!
Profile
I am the Director of Marketing and Recruiting for an International Non-Profit, TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) International. We provide training for people who want to teach English overseas. I am very knowledgeable (at least I like to think I am!) in ESL related info, and would be happy to share information, give advice or just talk about my experience so far.
Since I work from home, and I work in a travel related industry, it allows me the time to travel overseas and work whenever I want. I'm always up for a last-minute trip!! I am very open-minded and love learning about other cultures. I love to immerse myself while I travel. Instead of the 2 week crammed vacation, I have decided to live and work in the places I have visited, giving me a 'locals' perspective of life and culture.

This past summer, I had the opportunity to accompany a wonderful family of 5 (mom, dad, and 3 kids aged 6, 5 and 18 months) on vacation to Denmark to visit their great grandmother who is 93 years old. Its always a challenge but very rewarding in the end :-)
