Trekking and Waterfalls

Me sat outside our hut.

We woke quite early and Wii (our trekking guide) made us all breakfast before we set off trekking the Jungle. Just like the day before it was hot, humid and hard work but fortunately along the way we stopped off to cool down under some beautiful waterfalls. I was scared of burning myself as I exposed my milky white skin for the first time in years.

After cooling off we had lunch in a small village at the foot of the water fall. We sat on the floor in what looked like the kitchen eating some very fresh and very nice food cooked again by our talented guide.

Refueled and refreshed we set off trekking to our camp on the river where we would be riding elephants and white water rafting for the last day of our trek.

Again like China, I was lucky to be put in a trekking group that seem to have a great blend of personalities and everyone seemed to get on very well. We had a mixture of nationalities including, Swiss, English, American, Candanian and Belguim.
