Touch Down Australia

After meeting up with Neil for some Tom Yam soup I headed to Singapore's airport via the underground. Once I got to the airport I realised my flight was actually at 9:10 not 9.55 like I had previously thought for some reason. This meant checking in and heading straight to the gate to wait to board the plane.

I was flying with Qantas which had plenty of films and programs to watch. I opted for a couple of films before watching just the one episode of the US version of the Office. The US Office was pretty poor so I decided not to watch any more. By the time I had watched the films and the office it was time for in flight breakfast. I hadn't slept at all during the flight and was starting to feel it as I got off the plane. The air in Australia seemed less humid and everything seemed much more spread out compared to Asia.

I met up with my brother at the airport and we headed back to his house in Brisbane to surprise my mother on her birthday with my sudden appearance with flowers at the front door.

My blog is going to be put on hold for a while now as I'm not really doing anything interesting. I'm taking a break from travelling until new years eve when I visit Sydney and start a two month trip on the east coast. Fear not, I'll be posting any interesting trips and experience in Aus on here. Bye for now.
