Beer Laos Luang Prabang Hangover

I woke up in our 5 person shared room with a slight hangover after consuming too much beer Laos the evening before. Myself, the Brigster, Amy, Lucy and Charlotte (who we met at the border guest house) went to a place called Hive bar in Luang Prabang, we met up with people who were also at the border that afternoon and on our slow boat down the river.

After consuming quite a few drinks and just before Hive bar closed most of us jumped into a couple of tuk tuks and headed to a classy joint call Vietnam Bar (note the sarcasm) which was much more of a shop than a bar. The bar was much fun never the less as many familiar faces were drinking there that evening, the bar itself was in stark contrast to Hive bar which was actually pretty cool.

After recovering slightly from my hangover the next day by consuming a large coffee and a large Italian omellete, myself and Charlotte hired a couple of bikes for 10,000 kip (1 dollar). We had managed to lose the other guys somewhere in Luang Prabang although I have no idea how as its a pretty small place. We cycled around the town stopping off at a small temple where Monks were living just alongside. I found it highly amusing to see Monk's orange robes hanging out to dry complete with an orange bucket as they'd just been doing their laundry.

That evening all five of us plus a couple from New Zealand opted for a buffet style meal from the night market. It cost 50 cents for a bowl full and consisted of spring rolls, rice, noddles, potato etc, I finished the whole bowl and was hoping for seconds.

As Brig, Amy and Lucy had a limited time in Laos they decided to head south towards the border leaving myself and Charlotte heading further north.
