The Amazing Hong Kong Light Show

Some of the guys on the tour where staying in Hong Kong for a short period of time. The two English girls hadn't already booked accommodation so we decided to get a triple room to reduce the cost, they were off to India two days later.

The room was small but clean, not a cockroach in sight. The guest house was situated on the 14 floor of the Mirador on Nathan Road in Kowloon.

After hunting for an Internet cafe for most of the day only to find they had vanished or closed down we decided to check out the Hong Kong Light show with some other guys from the group.

The light show consisted of some cheesy music, an announcer just like "the price is right" and sky scrapers with all their lights flashing in time to the music. It was very entertaining sat on the harbour watching. It reminded me of the Bund sight seeing tunnel in Shanghai and left me thinking "what was the point?". Never the less it was funny and certainly put a smile on my face.
