All smogged out

We got up early yet again to catch the subway then a few taxi's to the Summer Palace. It was a vast park made up of temples, lakes, statues, boats amongst other things. It would have taken us a day if not two to cover the whole place, but the main areas we covered were pretty amazing. By the time we had finished my feet were sore and I was ready for a cold shower.

By this time I was craving to get away from the smog of Beijing which today seemed much worse than any other day that I had been here. I felt I needed a little space from the guys on the tour so I opted for some time by myself before we headed out of Beijing to the Great Wall of China. I decided to log on and update my blog and catch some sleep before having to get up early again the next day.
