08/13/07 UPDATES: finally back home at last!!! Since tomorrow Alynn will take off for Hawaii on a three week business trip, BS also will be taking off the day after for another road trip. The unfinished blog portion will be complete whenever one of us find the time.

Day 4 - part 1

Having a late start in the morning, we drove through the park onto our way to San Jose. Along the way, near Gilroy, a fruit stand gathered abundance of lively fruits and only the Red Bing Cherries were organic. Of course, being that it is local and a farmer’s stand, one should expect the produce to be sold at a cheap price and here is a proof of that: $7 for nearly 4 lbs!! Let that mouth water!

Driving through Gilroy, hoping to see some festivities of their garlic lifestyle, it was a contentment to see their quaint little city. Gilroy is known for the garlic crop and Garlic Festival which is usually held annually during the full last weekend of July.
