After waiting for the ground tarp of the tent to dry, Lavender Herb Farm was checked out. Much to our disappointment, it was not open until 9 or 10am and it was a bit after 7:30ish. At least we had the opportunity to view the farm and the landscaping of Kelwona. How beautiful it was!
Our cooler was filled, gas was pumped, maps were marked, our bodies embarked for our next destination, Arrow Lake Campground (Taite Park). Dare you to find it on the map! Take this hint, you have to take a sweetly ferry across the rivers. While driving toward to our next destination, the beauty of Canada was absorbed into our minds and souls. The mountains are rounded by the glaciers, ice, and/or snow. The sides of the roads were painted with rad, purple, pink, white, and pastel blue wild flowers. The roads winded and curved to allow our eyes to relish the angelic beauty of Canadian scenery.
Questioning ourselves and following our instincts, the park was revealed and a site was marked for our night to allow us to dream away. The water of the lake is so pristine, bracing, and transparent. Engulf yourself with such beauty! A zealous way to get some nature fix! Sunset was basked in, the moon illuminated the clouds, the stars glistened the sky. Perfection of a night.
