Today would not be more than a calm day. I woke up this morning and my legs were more than very painfull. These two days of hiking killed me. But that did not matter to me, because they were beautiful! I did get up quite late today. Breakfast was till 9 am and exactly at 9 I was there, but there was no food anymore. I went to the reception to ask if it was still possible to get breakfast. This very friendly woman came with me and took everything for breakfast, just for me. That was very nice of her. After breakfast I checked out at the hostel before 10 am. But my booked bus to Wellington would not leave before 3 pm. So I first arranged a hostel for the night in Wellington.

I was the only one in the hostel, because people go to hike during the day.

So I decided to write the cards I bought a few days ago to my beloved ones. After I did that, I wrote a bit in my travel journal I read a bit about New Zealand in the Lonely Planet and other travel guide I had with me. I had some muesli bars left I did not eat during all the hiking, so I decided to have some of them as lunch, because I did not feel like walking all the way to the gas station to buy something more decent because my legs hurt like hell still! It was a very rainy day today, so I was so happy with the weather I had yesterday. In quite a long period of time yesterday seemed to be the only beautiful day! Because it was raining I played a bit of Patience with the playing cards I always bring with me and I read a bit.

Finally when it was almost 3 pm, I went to the bus stop.

There a French guy was also waiting and we talked a bit about traveling and New Zealand. At 3 pm I had the bus to Bulls first, where I would arrive at 6 pm and had to change the bus to Wellington at 6:10 pm. There was only a Subway open next to the bus station, so I quickly went there to buy something to eat very quickly. After another 2 hours I arrived in Wellington at 8:15 pm at the train station. I decided to walk from there to the hostel I booked. It was dry, but the streets were all wet, so also here it had been raining. It was already dusk when I walked to the hostel. I checked in there and went first for some food. I ate at a Mexican restaurant after walking for a while searching for a restaurant that was still open at this time. After dinner I walked a little bit around town before I went back to the hostel to go to bed.
