We took a day tour called it departed in glasgow. this was the start of our tour.

We cross the FIRTH OF CLYDE, close by the ancient capital of STRATHCLYDE, DUMBARTON, with its rocky fortress and then on to bonnie LOCH LOMOND, Britain's largest expanse of fresh water. Our first stop is the beautiful conservation village of LUSS, with its VIKING GRAVE, where you can walk along the shores or explore the village. Then we move on to BALLOCH - where you can enjoy a cruise around the southern parts of the loch. After our lunch stop in the village of ABERFOYLE, we enter the TROSSACHS; foothills of the Highlands, driving by hills and lochs that were once the haunt of ROB ROY MACGREGOR, one of Scotland's most famous Highlanders.

Our final stop is at the mighty STIRLING CASTLE, Scotland's most strategically important fortress, Royal home of the STEWART DYNASTY. You will have time to visit the castle and hear of the exploits of key historical figures including WILLIAM WALLACE, MARY QUEEN OF SCOTS, and BONNIE PRINCE CHARLIE.
