“You’re Not a Hero Until You’ve Been to the Great Wall" - Mao Zedong.
It is the dream of every Chinese to climb The Great Wall of China, and yes, on the 28th of December 2011, I was in the most famous place in China, The Great Wall.
It's one of the 7 Wonders of the World. A UNESCO World Heritage Site. A treasure of the ancient time. And one of the dream destinations of every traveler. It's Priceless to see this magnificent wonder.
The weather at that time was nice, sunny but still cold! hahaha I'm not used to winter, so even if the sun is up and sunny, the wind blows were killing me! Every step up, up, up, down, down, up, slide... are worthit. I walked as far as I can, just to have a solo place to take pictures of The Great Wall.
I chose the Badaling Part of the Great Wall, which is the nearest in Beijing as I don't have the luxury of time to visit far and more exotic part of Great Wall.
The cable car that brought me up in the great wall was kinda scary! As you know, many infrastructure like trains in China are colliding and dismantling from the trail etc etc so it really bothers me! Anyhow, luckily I am still alive.
If time permits, I will visit again the other part of The Great Wall of China. A truly magnificent and one of the best creation of man ever built and still standing.
