On The way to paris. Air Canada.
Paris can be described as a cultural country which you can appreciate the food, dance, and traditions that are no found anywhere else. There is nothing better than going to the park with your cheap 1.50 Euro wine from Champion Stores, Starring at the Eiffel Tower thinking "damn, that's huge" and thinking which is better Creme brule (spell check) or Tiramisu. Those are just random thoughts but paris is all about the wine and the baguette. Baguettes for breakfast with jam and a cup of coffee on the side. I like the fact that most restaurants tell you which wines go with what type of meat. For some reason I always had red wine and Rose. I wonder what goes with white wine. So I arrived in paris and I was greeted by a french lady who I didn't understand a single word because I don't understand French that well.
Arc De Triomphe
I do speak a little though! I go through customs, got my bag and took the RER B into the city. Got of at Place De Clichy and went to my Hotel. I know I was going to the Hilton but I never expected my room to be bad. but it was Ok I guess for the length of time I was staying in Paris
which was four days. So I left my stuff in my room and met up with my friend Veronica and went staright to Eiffel Tower. When I got there, I was seriously amazed at how huge that tower is. I was almost at the point of drooling but I had to control myself and not make a fool out of myself infront of a million people. We paid the 11 Euros to go to the third floor and appreciated the view of Paris that the Tower offered to visitors.
My blood pressure went up and my blood sugar went down, I just couldn't believe that I would be up there. I would of never imagine myself on the Eiffel Tower looking at Paris. After Eifferl Tower, we headed to Sacre Couer and OMG so many stairs!!!! I almost died! I wasn't sure if there were elevators and if there were, they weren't working because the guards made us take the stairs. So we took pictures of Sacre Couer and went to Moulin Rouge. Moulin Rouge is not all that great. It's just Moulin Rouge. So the day was over and I headed to my hotel. So you don't need to read everything I did in Paris because I did what every tourist does on a visit to Paris. I went to Eiffel Tower, Sacre Coeur. Montparnasse, Arc de Triomphe, etc... Didn't do much partying because I was on a tight budget, so I went to eat traditional French food which i think it was meatballs with rice and a piece of cake made out of mint. I thought it was Tres Excellent!!! Overall, my trip was excellent and didn't have any complaints. If you do have a chance to go to Paris, try to take advantage of every minute! It is well worth it. But you definitively have to go to a park with a bottle of wine and just drink away! Au Revoir!
