pretty small for a Super Market.

After a very good friend on mine had a hard time in “Visalia” last year I thought I’d see what I could do to repair our tarnished image.

He was traveling south on California State Highway 99 on a long cross-country trip and probably and got off at Betty Drive to go to the nice KOA facility about a mile off the highway.  It’s a clean well maintained facility that has been there for many years and enjoys a good reputation.

But what he didn’t know was that when he got off the freeway there he was in Goshen.  It is a very small unincorporated area with a population of about 3,000.

So the three places he went were the local convenience, liquor or package stores.  I know the place he took the picture of the fence outside calls itself a “Super Market” but it really is just a place to buy beer, beans, rice and tortillas.  I took a couple of pictures of it too.
