"The Crown Jewel of the Caribbean!"
The Caribbean is famous for tropical weather, white sand beaches, and crystal clear water. St. John did not dissapoint! A 30-60 min. boat ride from St. Thomas, St. John boast one of the most famous beach in world. Cinnammon Bay, with it's 80 degrees of crystal clear water was relaxing and breathaking! There was no time for us to dive, but plenty of time for snorkling (might as well, if your in the water). You can rent them on the beach for around $5, there is also a small fee to enter the bay because it is a US national park. The rent comes with a goggle, snorkle and fins. My friends and I swam up to the twin islands and snorkled around that area. The reef was pretty amazing with plenty of underwater wildlife to see. They also have small underwater signs  featuring the animals that live in that area throughout the bay. The signs each have a picture of the animal and it's name so you know what your are looking at (see picture from album). We spent about 3 hours on the bay swimming, snorkling, basking in the tropical sun, and taking pictures. We then spend another or so looking around St. John doing some little souvenir shopping and of course eating. The locals were very friendly and always glad to recommended a good place to eat. We then took another boat back to St. Thomas to finish up this leg of the cruise.
