me and my buddy

it was 3rd anniversary of Natrekk (Nature Trekker), one of my favorite and active traveling mailing list. This mailist that had me meet some of my best traveling mates since I joined in 2005. Some of them that have been teaching me digital photography until now.. I like the people! That’s why I persisted to join the anniversary event although I got dreadful deadlines at work. The consequence was I worked over almost 22 hours on this Monday-Tuesday! *phuuwh!

But it worth! I love the moment, tiring but very fun and intimate!

It started in Senayan, the meeting point in central Jakarta on Saturday early morning then moved to Gunung Putri via Puncak that was well known for its terrible traffic jam every weekend! *better you go earlier than stuck on the traffic*

Arriving in the nearest point that vehicles could reach, we continued by trekking for about 30 minutes in rain. It was about 12 a.m but the fog already dropped and the sun disappeared. It was getting colder. We set our tents while raining was still. But just a couple hours, the day was bright again. I could take some pictures in the mist without rain.

I got good time that day, from chilling out with my friends by playing card, cooking, eating all the time to get a birthday friend punked! A lot laughs! ^^  also campfire in the night. lovely night, the moon was full.. i slept very well on my warm comfy sleeping bag...
