The hotel had a decent breakfast, much better than the last two hotels. There are 28 people on the bus tour, so far everyone seems nice. A very diverse age group, all from the states. We started our 1st tour of the Coliseum, before we walked in we witness three girls attempt to rob a tourist, in broad daylight in front of an audience luckily they were unsuccessful. The Coliseum is a magnificent site must have been really impressive when it was new. You could almost imagine what went on in there, of course I couldn’t stop Lou from screaming I’M SPARTACUS every five minutes, he also went into his Romans countrymen lend me your ears speech at the old senate. After that we did a walking tour of Rome, we saw most of the sights some very impressive, marveled at the Pantheon, once a temple to all the Roman gods with huge columns in front but now it is a Church.
