The Mykonos Windmills

Today we finally did not have a wake up call, but still woke up on our own accord around 8am.  After breakfast, we walked back to the town center and did some sundry replacement shopping, very tiny grocery stores.  We stayed in the town for awhile took pictures and walked back to our hotel.  We flipped a coin to see if we would go out to the pool, which is next to the sea, or stay in our nice a/c room.  The room one out, we both fell asleep for awhile.  Walked back to town for a 4:30pm Island tour.  The tour consisted of a walking thru Mikonos town again and a bus tour of the island.  Once you get out of town the landscape here is very drab there are no trees at all much like the Southwest United States.  The whitewashed houses are all Adobe style, the only color on them is on the doors. The beaches are really beautiful but windy it’s hot when you are in sun and cold when the wind blows.  They say that the height of tourist season is over but it’s still crowded and there scooters and four wheelers zooming around the tiny streets, this place must be a madhouse in July and August.
