A rude 4:45 am wake-up call. Then a terrifying taxi ride, the driver drove 60 mph thru parking lots and alleys. Once we got to the airport we found that our flights were changed instead of going from Naples to Milan to Barcelona, we were going from Naples to Rome then onto Barcelona, which got us in an hour earlier. From Barcelona airport we took a bus to Tarragona, then another bus to Salou, there we took a cab to our timeshare. So our day so far consisted of two taxis, two flights and two buses. . The timeshare is very nice at first sight it seemed to be in a quiet residential area. After a little exploring we found out that Salou is a very nice little city with restaurants, shops, clubs, and modern buildings on wide straight roads
And a boardwalk. This town is very different from what we have seen in the last two months; actually it reminds us of the west coast of Florida. The Mediterranean Sea is just a 10 minute walk, one day we may go and find out if the water is warm enough for us.
