Greetings from the Cyclades

Darcy on the ferry in front of the port of Tino.

Wake up call at 5:00AM for a 6:00AM pick up (taxi came at 5:45) to the sea port, we arrived at the ferry 3 hours early that was taking us to Mykonos.  Of course Darcy got sea sick, otherwise it was a lovely trip.  After stopping at two other islands we arrived at Mykonos around 1:00pm.  We are staying in a very quaint small hotel right on the Aegean Sea.  Our room is a nice size with a large patio which you can see the sea.  After getting a little settled we took a walk to Mykonos Town. Mikonos looks just like the picture that everybody has seen. A maze of very narrow streets with little whitewashed houses with brightly colored shutters and doors.  The pace is slower here most of the tourist season is over, and it’s a nice contrast to the bustling big cities we have been in lately, we are ready to slow down our pace for a while.  Tomorrow is the first day that we aren’t going to have an early wake up call, in a while, is as matter of fact we have very little planed tomorrow.
