Another Day Another Island

Another travel day, we took another ferry from Paros to Santorino.  An unbelievable Island, it consists mostly of cliffs that come out of the ocean and appear to reach the sky, with little towns on top.  We arrived at the small harbor at the bottom. After disembarking we took a harrowing ride up a steep switchback road, then down the other side of the island where our hotel is. The driver who did not speak any English lets out on a dirt parking lot and pointed. Turned out that we were behind the hotel and the only access was over a four foot wall so we lifted our luggage over the wall and climbed over.  We still don’t know why we were left off there, right now the tour agent is blaming the hotel and the hotel is blaming the agent. This room is one of the smallest, that we stayed in, we are lucky to have a place for our luggage.  However the hotel is very nice with a huge pool and area on a boardwalk (with many restaurants and shops). Across from the black volcanic sand beach. 

We have not had enough time to explore the island yet but it appears to be different than any of the other ones we have been to.
