We decided we had enough rest, so we started to explore the island of Paros.  Since we are getting good with public transportation we took a public bus to explore the island.  They have very modern, comfortable buses here and the fare is next to nothing.  A lot of people got off the bus at the first two stops. For some reason we decided to be the only ones to get off in Marpissa a very small desolate town. Not much to do or see there.  After standing out in the sun for an hour and half we got on another bus and took it to the other coast.  Our second stop was Naoussa a scenic fishing village, with restaurants galore.  We had one of the best pizza’s so far at a place called Menieue; this is where the picture of me and the kitten was taken. While eating lunch we witnessed an altercation between two locals that almost escalated to a fist fight, everything was in Greek so we are not sure what the fight was about, but it was entertaining to watch.  Naoussa is a great place to spend a day it looks like it’s straight out of a travel magazine, with a little harbor full of  small fishing boats an  old fort from the 15TH century, sandy beaches  and very friendly locals.
