Going back up

Today we are driving back up to the north. This time we drow the other way around the mountains and through the 'desert'. We got to lake tapou and on to Hobbiton... WuHu... or so I was thinking...

It cost 50 dollers and it is no longer kept as it was... So that is a nother of the tourist-traps in NZ.

I think that there a way to many people thinking in money and not in giving people a god time. I dont mind paying for a good attraction, but going for a busride for 3 hours and not even seeing what you were there for is not good karma...

Back in Auckland we vent to the beachfront to eat dinner, we had italien. very good

tomorrow I'm going to Fiji...

Hmmm fair comment about the Hobbiton trip Jens. But what did you mean by "another' of the tourist traps in my country? Did you find this was a regular problem? If so I'm disappointed bcos I think generally NZ is good value for money.....
