Oyvind and the three of us got on the train to Qingdao which is a 5 hour train ride but it took more than 6. Arrived in Qingdao around 10 pm and figured we could just follow the map Oyvind had in his lonely planet book to a recomended hostel. But to follow a map it`s best to be in the same area as the map, which we weren`t... Evidentally there`s been built a new train station because the one we got off on, end station, was even in a completely different district. Wandered around for a while (first time we`ve actually done any walking with our backpacks) and couldn`t quite figure out the map and eventually got help from a Korean man who spoke some English and his pretty drunk friend. They got us in two taxis and went with us to the hostel where the nice Korean man - who was helpful to a point where it wasn`t very healthy for him at all -insisted on paying for us and carry our bags and do whatever else he could do for us. We were all grateful but also very uncomfortable about it.

Stayed at the hostel that night, had a beer in the basement bar where the drunk man still lingered, hoping to onvince us to let him drive use on a sightseeing tour to one of the mid regions. We declined again and again but in the end we just had to go to our room to escape him. Which was fine because it was time to go to bed anyway. Had some snacks and watched Korean tv! I half expected the drunk man to be there when we came down the next morning but he had finally left...
