We liked it straight away, walked in the old part of the town, then parked the car near the river and after dark walked to Ciudad de Las Artes Y Las Ciencias - the city of arts and sciences. Pictures say for themselves, I think.
That night we decided to sleep in the car. I don't know what we were thinking, we came to Malvarosa with a bottle of wine and some nuts and went to the beach. After midnight we met M's friend near the dolphins' monument, talked for several hours and he offered us a place to sleep. We slept for an hour or two and in the morning felt horrible. I personally can't remember last time I felt so bad physically. So Chechu, this friend of ours, took us to L'Albufera. We wanted to go sailing at first, but the wind was so hard it wasn't possible to stand still. L'Albufera was of weird green color, I still don't know whether it is the regular color or not. Then we went to some small local restaurant for a good paella and to Alboraia to see what horchata is. Alboraia is the home of horchata, there is even a monument dedicated to it and Horchata Avenue. We went to a nice place Daniel's Horchateria, spent there some time and the we had to say goodbye and head north again...
