About fifteen miles west of Bend, Oregon, this very nice waterfall is an easy access. This is one of a very few waterfalls that is nearly the same whether early in the spring and early summer as later in the summer. This is a plunge type falls and is nearly a hundred feet tall and more than fifteen feet wide. There is a very nice viewpoint right near the parking area. The Tumalo Falls parking lot is a fee area and a Northwest Forest Pass is required. Day passes are available on-site for five dollars. Trails are available to hike to the top and view the falls from a totally different perspective. The last 2 and a half miles of your trip is on a gravel road but don't let that stop you from making this stop. This falls is well worth visiting.
