We had a fully handicapped room right behind the lobby in Oakridge, Oregon.Larger room with wider doors and even a no step in shower, which was very large and had a hand held shower and a chair that was attached to the wall and folded down if you needed it.We didn’t but the hand held was nice to be able to use.Breakfast, although they don’t say it is expanded, offered hot oatmeal, and even biscuits and country gravy. We were delighted.
We were out and on the road again about , and headed for TumaloFalls just west of Bend, Oregon. It was about two hours just to get there. The final 2 ½ miles were on a very bumpy gravel road. There was almost no walk to the viewpoint, but there was a trail that some people were taking up around to the top of the falls. We couldn’t see doing that because the pictures from that point would not have shown much of the falls but only the pool at the bottom. Tumalo Falls is 97 feet tall and 15 feet wide. Even in July it is flowing with plenty of water and the plunge is spectacular.
I just hiked at Tumalo Falls this week. Your pics are great!! There are actually so many falls as you trek upwards. I was really suprised at all the great pics we got while hiking but it was intense!! My feet still hurt! :)
