Planes and Trains
May 30, 2006
Nothing wrong with a European buget flight to the mainland.
Thanks to Ryanair, I made it to Germany with ease (and super easy on my wallet). The flight came into the Baden-Baden, Germany. From there, it was a quick train ride to Karlsruhe and then on to Munich.
I think I was the only American on the plane. No worries, that just meant I got the short line at the customs checkpoint.
Somewhat an uneventful plane ride, but that's not a bad thing! ;)
As a sidenote: Irish people are so nice! One man helped me with my backpack on the bus from the airport to the train and then continued to help me on the train. So kind!
Odds and ends:
Travel to: by plane to Baden-Baden, and then airport bus to the train station
Travel from: by train to Karlsruhe, and then onward to Munich
