If you are big fan of "top chef" cooking show on the BRAVO CHANNEL, like me. Todd English was one of the judges on the show. i have eaten at one of them in boston called "KING FISH HALL" in boston. (see review in the BOSTON BLOG)
for starters i ordered....my fave....Pan Roasted Foie Gras Steak
pistachio crusted warm duck rillettes,frisee salad & rhubarb vinaigrette OMG THIS WAS HUGE. LOTS OF FLAVOR AS ALWAYS. IT WAS A PERFECT BALANCE WITH RHUBARD. BY THE WAY I HATE RHUBARD.
my entree i ordered the grilled Chilean sea bass with white cheddar mash potatoes and salad. WOW IT WAS ALSO HUGE. VERY MOIST. IT BROKEN APART SMOOTHLY. THE MASH POTATOES WERE CREAMY AND RICH.
my mum's starter was a Grilled Squid and Octopus chickpea vinaigrette, tomatoes, toasted garlic, parsley. WOW AGAIN HUGE PIECES. FLAVORS ARE WELL BALANCE.
my mum's entree Pan Seared Jumbo Sea Scallops roasted garlic cauliflower puree, sweet golden raisin jam, shaved fennel & arugula salad.
while we waited we were served with a basket of garlic foccacia bread with 3 different types of olive tapenade spreads. TRY NOT TO EAT THIS BEFORE YOUR MEAL. IT IS YUMMY. ESPECIALLY IF YOU ORDERED FLATBREAD.
i love this place. i want to go back to try the flatbreads and the steaks. i don't cuz the bellagio is my favorite hotel.
