I would recommend doing tours booking on VEGAS.COM there are over 60 different tours to grand canyon in various transportation. my mum and i took the plane and bus tour.
since i live in vegas. we arranged to be picked up at the orleans hotel which is 5min from me. we had to be there by 6:50am.
NOTE: LOCALS MAKE THE PICK UP PLACE TO BE THE MANDALAY HOTEL. IT IS AN 8AM PICK UP TIME.
i would bring plenty of water or buy a CAMEL PAK. it is very expense to purchase.
the agents were organized. we boarded the plane with ease. the pilots were great. the plane ride is worth it. you can see the strip and hoover dam below.
i would use this website again to book tours. i plan to do the south rim tour, water rafing tour and the overnight in a tipee tour.
