My grandmother just had me randomly google some place that she worked at when she was 14.
Eaton's Ranch in Wyoming.
It looks incredible.
and they hire for the summers... especially college kids.
who knows, maybe I'll apply next summer,,
but that might be difficult because I will be going to france that August.
hm.
anyway.
I'm excited. my grandmommy keeps giving me awesome vintage things.
like heels from the 50's.. with a matching belt and purse.
things that are in perfect condition that would cost a crapload at a vintage or antique store.
yes.
So, I'm almost done working here.
Surreal really.
4 more days of work.
then, heading to Merritt Island where my dad grew up , to see his family.
Then I plop myself back down in NY to relax for a few weeks and decompress.
then off to college...where I have a leadership position next year..
so I will be moving in hundreds of freshman.
should be exciting.
I want a pet lizard.

I can handle cockroaches. I can handle crickets, even snakes.
not spiders.
ew. So... there was a cricket in the kitchen and I was trying to catch him and he jumped into my hand a few times, but kept jumping out.
so he goes over ... under the cabinets along the floor.. so I'm laying on my stomach trying to catch him..
and my hand.. almost brushes..
THIS SICK SICKITY SICK SICK BIG BLACK SPIDER.
now, he was curled up. but I don't know what that means..
alive or dead..
he was still in his web...
and he wasn't like..tiny by any means..
not massive either,..
but he had big old nasty thick black legs.
and I'm getting the heebie jeebies just thinking about it.

gahhhhh.
and now I'm going to be sleeping on the couch again.
