Homecoming, pudding, and pills galore.
June 30, 2007
my grandmother came home today.
I woke up at 7 am, after 3 hours of sleep and started hauling books into bookcases and all sorts of other tasks.
The verizon guy came to set up my internet and we couldn't find an outlet to do it in...
I had to move loads of furniture shoved into a back room all by myself to even find one...
Then my grandmother actually came home and we had welcome home cake and all that jazz.
the day was unbelievably long.
the pace of life is so slow here.
turtle paced really.
chores, pudding with crushed pills in it...
walking at the pace of a snail...
but I love her and I'm getting paid, so it's okay.
just unbelivably exhausting.
I haven't wanted sleep so badly in a very very long time.
and I do mean that from the bottom of my heart.
her aid works weekdays so my mom and I were on our own for the first weekend...
and all of them for a month...
wow.
