Cottonmouth! Oh no!
July 11, 2007
so it turns out that the snake from yesterday is probably a Cottonmouth..
which is nice and poisonous.
crap.crappity.crap.crap.
It was black, so we looked up all of the black snakes in florida.
then we looked at their tales because my mother had said that the tail was really different.
it went from really fat to immediately thin and short..
not the normal progression for a snakes tail.
we figured out that it must have been a cottonmouth.
great. I don't even want to go outside to bask in the sun and attempt to get a tan..
damn snake.
I don't like it one bit..
and now we're all paranoid when we go outside...
jumping over the front step..
looking under the car..
into the shrubs...
frantically trying to get into the car.
hah.
perhaps because the tail was the width of a campbells soup can.
and they can be up to 8 feet in length.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
