soooo.. woke up today and went to take a bunch of photos outside.. It was sweltering but beautiful...
then my grandmother wanted to go back to her old nursing home to see her best friend and my great aunts..
so alas, more crazy people to follow me.
it was adorable though. We brought some 4th of july bling for 3 lovely and silly old women. Fifi, my grandmothers best friend, was so overjoyed that we had come that she started crying. I got to learn alot about her, like how she was a famous artist that showed in museums and all sorts of things.
she was just such a doll.

I went lizard hunting for a while outside, and managed to find a lizard inside clinging to the curtains ;-)
I love them. I wish that I could bring lizards back to college with me.

fast forward to dinner.

BBQ Pork and corn on the cob...
hah and I finished my corn on the cob and started sucking on it and my mother was like
and I was like.. I wanted the corn juice....
and my mother says " grandmommy, please tell your granddaughter that what she is doing is rude and ridiculous."

and my grandmother grabs her corn on the cob and starts sucking on it ;-)
ahahahhaha I won.
my grandmommy was laughing so hard at my mothers face when she sided with me instead of my mum.
I smile just thinking about how funny it was.

then I saw some fireworks... sort of...
my first 4th of july without the whole harris hill shebang with vendors and games and all that..
some of the neighbors here set off some rinky dink fireworks.
