Old Town
We planned to go to the YH there, but it was fully booked, and as we were walking back down the steps, we were offered a room by some guy next to teh YH. It was good - nice room, bathroom etc. But it was just in his house. It was about 10mins to walk to the old town, so not too bad. We could also get the bus (we did on the way back!)

We didn't get to see any of the beaches - we had a few friendship problems and it all fell apart, but we got to see th main things! I did the walk of the city walls whihc took about 2hours cos I was taking pictures at every avaialbe opportunity, and it was nearly sunset.

We made regular trips to the Irish pub (think its just called the Irish Pub, and there is another one next door called the Gaffe) where we met a load of American law students.

I can't really explain Dubrovnik, the photos are able to describe it better I think!

Oh and how can I forget the cobbled stones - beware! My first purchase was a new pair of flip flops - after a few weeks of tramping around Croatia with only one pair of flip flops, they were ruined and I decided to buy some new ones after very nearly slipping on a step going down one of the (very steep) alleys and flying all the way down!

Next stop...Sarajevo!
