Bovec

On a bit of a whim, we decided to go canyoning and white water rafting in Bovec. We found a flyer in Zadar about it. We stayed  at the 'Eco Camp Canyon' which was basically in the middle of nowhere, but the activities were organised by the people there so we didn't need to worry about anything. Our food was included, accommodation and everything. It worked out very cheaply. We only chose to do rafting and canyoning although we could have done other things as well. The camp was awesome - everyhing made out of natural resources from the forest, except the tents and the bedding!

There was no electricity, the 'fridge' was the river! Which was fine seeing as it seemed to be minus degrees!!

Canyoning was fantastic, really good experience. The rafting, although fun, was a bit slow cos the water levels are very low int he summer, apparently the best time to go is in May, when all the snow has melted. We still had a laugh though!
