This is the aftermath of our 2nd flood and it captures what the rest of my apartment looks like right now.
The days are counting down for me to leave for my "vacation". I will be leaving the country for about 5 months first traveling Europe for 2 months and then hopefully working in the U.K. for 3.  Right now nervous tingles are going through my body as I try to figure out what else I need to buy, who I have to call and what my plan is going to be.  This is what I have so far:
Plane Tickets (JFK -> Rome) - August 1st and (London -> JFK) December 27
Rail Passes: 15 days within 2 month standard Eurail, 7 days eastern eruope pass and 8 days BritRail Pass.
1 Backpack and Sleeping Bag
Reservations for a Hostel in Rome for 3 nights
A WWOOF membership for Italy
A scense of adventure?

So far my plan is just a vague outline of the cities I want to visit and going to Oktoberfest. My travels will end on Oktober 8th where I have a train ticket from Brussels to London. There I will hopefully find a job and live there for 3 months. Maybe, I don't really know :)

P.S. All my planning is slightly hindered by the fact that I work a full time job, taking a class and my apartment is a bit disorganized because of the recent flood that we had....again!
