There were eagles everywhere.
Lindblad trips are on smaller boats than cruises (about 60 guests) and on every boat there are about 5 naturalists who know everything about the area you are traveling in. You get to travel on the coast and make frequent stops on land to explore. In Alaska we started in Sitka and traveled around the Inside Passage ending in Juneau. We saw a lot of wildlife: bears, moose, crabs, birds, killer whales, seals, sea lions, puffins, humpback whales, newts, etc. Another highlight was seeing glaciers up close and personal. We got to see many calfing (falling off into the sea) and it was so awesome. The food is also amazing because you eat local alot, so we got much fresh fish. The rooms are small but nice. I definately recommend this trip or any Lindblad trip to anyone who can afford it and wants an educational, amazing experience!
