Welcome to Denmark

From Weener we drove straight through North-Germany. We considered stopping here and there but really wanted to get to Denmark as soon as possible and would rather plan a North-German tour as seperate vacation. From the German Island Fehmarn we took the ferry over to Rødby in Denmark, which only takes 30 minutes.
In Maribo we stopped to get some Danish kroner. Unfortunately the Danish have voted not to switch to the Euro some years ago.
