My voyage to Norway. i am flying to Bergen to start the fjords cruise from north to south to Kirkenes then back to Bergen. i will be going to 36 towns including Trondheim, Bodo, Hammerfest, Kirkenes and Tromso. I am leaving a 110 degree weather to a 40 degree weather.

SVOLVAER, NORWAY

WE ARE IN THE LOFOTEN ISLANDS. Well, actually we already did when we had a brief stop at Stamsund and an hour stop in Svolaer. It was 9pm when we arrived and everything was closed except a famous bar called the “MAGIC BAR”. Everything in there was made of ice, from the bar, the cups that holds the liquor, the seats, everything. Unfortunately, I did not go inside. There was an admission to get in, 40 kroner. I just took pictures. I went out just to stretch out my sea legs. More to come. We are heading out to Tromso and Harstad tomorrow.
