We are back in Rovick. We arrived the same time as last time at 8:30pm. We docked for an hour. I was brave enough to walk around the cold and wet weather. I wanted to get out of the ferry. There were 2 girls marketing 2 museums, the old rovick museum and the new rovick museum. The 2 girls said it was 60 kroner each. I did not go. I walked around for a bit. Then I saw later a group of people I new from the boat being escorted with one of the girls. I figured they are going to the old rovick museum. The new museum is near the pier. You could miss it. it was the modern looking building. I followed them inside the city. That girl was taking them to a dark alley. What was going thru my mind that it was like a seen in the movie “hostel”. They were going to be kidnapped and never been seen again.

The old museum is in a 1870 building. It belonged to a couple who ran a general store, café, and rooms to rent and they lived there. A 19th century B&B, the items in the general store is preserved well. it reminded me of  “little house on the prairie”, The Olsen’s merchantile. There are collections of history of how life was in the 1800s and about the couple that owed it. there were old spinning wheels, furniture, fishing nets, fishing hooks, fisherman’s outfit, harpoon guns, the old school house desks with the ink well and quill holder. I got a better experience of this city than the last time we were here.  HAHAHAHAHA. We head out to Trondheim, Kristiansund, and Molde. I hope the day will be sunny tomorrow.
